Each of us has a responsibility to contribute positively to the communities in which we work and live.  As a corporate citizen, PTI Group is no different.  We are committed to proactively seeking programs that provide sustainable economic benefits to the community while positively impacting the quality of life for all.

Working together, the possibilities are limitless.

Operating with a strong sense of business integrity and corporate responsibility, PTI Group has a variety of programs dedicated to:

  • Business partnerships with Aboriginal community groups
  • Apprenticeship training programs
  • Corporate sponsorship
  • Community investment program for philanthropic pursuits
  • Employee volunteer initiatives
  • An area of focus we are particularly proud of is the education of our youth.  Major financial commitments have been made to the University of Alberta, the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and Keyano College in Fort McMurray.

PTI and its employees have also been strong supporters of the United Way in the various communities in which we operate.  For several years, we have also made an annual commitment supporting the Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity.

A large segment of PTI's business occurs on Aboriginal lands or areas in which there is a large First Nation and Métis population.  PTI extends its support to these communities in a significant fashion through the provision of computers to schools in the Aboriginal community and by providing apprenticeship training in the skilled trades to Aboriginal youth who wish to pursue careers in the manufacturing sector.
