After many years assisting clients with their demanding global projects, we created a dedicated division to further enhance the level of service to our customers around the world. PTI Major Projects

PTI Major Projects can become involved in the very early stages of your large scale project, using a consultative approach to help you plan every aspect of its implementation far in advance of initial construction. We offer a single point of contact for projects that require unique design, manufacturing, logistics, operations management or food service solutions. We seamlessly integrate the expertise of several PTI divisions to develop a cost-effective means of solving planning and construction challenges. 

PTI Noble Structures

PTI Noble Structures is one of two PTI manufacturing facilities providing modular factory-built construction for virtually any type of facility. Like PTI Travco, its structures are fabricated in modular or knockdown form, including permanent and temporary camps, residential housing, offices, recreational facilities, laboratories, weather stations and retail kiosks.  

PTI Open Camp Services

PTI Open Camps Services maintains the largest chain of permanent base camps in western Canada, strategically located in remote areas where many companies need to house staff at a common location. From shared rooms to private suites, we have a complete range of accommodation options to house your staff for any length of time. As your needs grow, so does our service. Depending on the camp location, we offer everything from satellite and Internet access to confectionery items and fuel sales.

PTI Premium Camp Services

From highly portable small fire line camps to large base camps, PTI Premium Camp Services is an industry leader for cost-effective turnkey camp services. Our experienced professionals specialize in rapid response and can have your project up and running swiftly and cost-effectively.  

Depending on your needs, PTI Premium Camp Services can deliver and set up a fully functioning camp with amenities and hot meals in less than 24 hours after receiving your call. Our staff is capable of managing all the logistical requirements and at a moment’s notice can dispatch the housing units you need from our large fleet of portable camp structures.

PTI Remote Site Services USA is targeting growth in the oil and gas hotbed of America’s Midwest with operations in Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. Its current focus in this market is the provision of modular workforce accomodations, catering and housekeeping services that provide a home away from home for people working on industry projects in remote areas far from the support of local urban amenities.

PTI Travco Modular Structures

PTI Travco Modular Structures is one of Canada’s largest manufacturers of modular buildings.  Providing the comforts of home to people operating in remote, desolate locations is how we have earned a global reputation for excellence in design, manufacturing, logistics and cold-weather engineering. 

Our primary manufacturing is completed in the controlled environment of our 40,000 square foot indoor facility in Nisku, Alberta, under our certified quality control procedures and inspections.  When the facility components come off the line, we orchestrate the logistics of transporting the modules to the project site where we then manage a seamless installation process.

Aside from industrial workforce housing, PTI Travco also designs and manufactures weather stations, office complexes, mobile laboratories, retail kiosks, residential housing and a variety of portable structures such as wellsite and geologist accommodations. 

Chimo Water & Wastewater

Chimo Water & Wastewater specializes in the development and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants operating in some of the most inhospitable places in the world. Chimo’s equipment and operators are frequently deployed to remote locations working in extreme climates.  Our water and wastewater plants are designed to run reliably and efficiently in the constant subzero temperatures of Antarctic as well as the arid temperatures of Africa and the Middle East.  Our operators have extensive experience in these extreme conditions.

Norwel Developments Limited

Norwel Developments Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of PTI Group. Norwel is based in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories. It operates Mackenzie House, a full-service 75-room lodge. Mackenzie House is used by oil and gas exploration personnel operating in the region. Imperial Oil Resources is the primary corporate tenant, currently using the facility to support its operations in Norman Wells. Norwel also provides camp equipment and catering services to exploration companies working in the Sahtu region.
